Tideway: Engaging investors on green financing

Tideway, a private UK company, developed a green bond framework and launched six green bonds totally £775 million to align its financing with its commitment to sustainability. A green finance communication strategy, spearheaded by the treasury team, helps attract and retain investors. This includes: a brochure, green bond framework, reporting and an investor presentation, all of which reflect the integrated thinking that underpins Tideway’s strategy; they also engage investors in other ways, including short videos, river tours and site visits to showcase the company’s work. Debt investors have responded positively and have gone on to use Tideway’s materials in their own investor communications.
