Finance for the Future Awards

The programme is now open for entries until 17 January 2024

The awards are free to enter and open to all individuals and organizations globally including businesses, charities, social enterprises, the public sector, education institutions, think tanks, collaborations and coalitions.  

The awards will be announced at a ceremony at the A4S Summit in June 2025.

Categories

Team of the Year
This category recognises finance teams OR teams within the financial services sector who lead on successfully embedding sustainability in their organisation’s overall strategy and decision-making processes.

Finance Changemakers
This category recognises individuals, teams or organisations that are contributing to research, thought leadership or training that inspires accounting and financial professionals to embed sustainability into mainstream decision making.

Leadership Awards
The Finance for the Future Awards will recognise leadership in four areas: Communicating Integrated Thinking; Climate; Nature and Biodiversity and; Social Impact. There is no separate entry form for these awards; the leaders will be selected from this year’s finalists from across all the categories.
This is optional: there is no requirement to answer the questions on Leadership in your entry award if not appropriate. Entries to the Leadership award will be considered as part of the overall assessment and judging process for the other award categories entered.

Individual awards (nomination only)

  • CFO of the Year – Celebrate a finance leader driving positive change
  • Rising star – recognizes and celebrates outstanding finance professionals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to driving positive change toward a sustainable economy

About the awards

The Finance for the Future awards were created to recognise financial leadership in building sustainable economies. The awards also highlight the role of the finance function in innovation and integrated thinking.

We are looking for organisations and individuals that are supporting the integration of sustainability into financial decision making.

The Finance for the Future awards programme is a partnership between ICAEW, A4S and Deloitte and was founded in 2012. It is recognised as one of the leading, global reaching, highly reputable awards within the sustainability arena. Our key ambition is to share best practice, drive awareness, inspire action and develop a community of finance leaders, committed to create more sustainable outcomes for their organisations.

How to enter

The Awards are free to enter and open to all individuals and organizations globally, including businesses, charities, social enterprises, the public sector, education institutions, think tanks, collaborations and coalitions. Joint entries are also welcome.
