ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

This interactive workshop will provide a update on the EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and the adoption of IFRS Standards, equipping participants with the knowledge and skills to respond efficiently and effectively with the disclosure requirements. A key component of the course will be to discuss approaches and challenges with other participants to enable peer exchange, as well as insights on strategic implementation of the requirements. Participants should ideally have an understanding of CSRD in advance.

Target Audience: Finance, Accounting, and Audit professionals that have (or will have) direct involvement with disclosure in accordance with the CSRD/ISSB. Given the collaboration required for sustainability reporting, this workshop is also open to sustainability professionals alongside their finance and accounting colleagues.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES

After attending the workshop, participants should be able to:

  • Describe the latest developments on reporting requirements under the CSRD and ISSB
  • Understand the role of the control environment in enhancing sustainability data quality
  • Develop actionable steps to prepare for sustainability disclosure in accordance with CSRD and IFRS Standards
